About Me

I’ve always been a music fan; from the age of 5, ripping through Angel of Death on Guitar Hero III to when I would receive my first (real) electric guitar at the age of 10. However, it wouldn’t be until the age of 14 when I first became interested in recording, receiving my first piece of recording equipment in the form of a small Tascam digital portastudio.

This lead me to study BTEC music technology at college, and it was around this time that I began to realise that I was rather good at music production and live sound, and better yet - I liked them.

Leaving with a distinction and wanting to further my knowledge still, I went on to study Audio and Music Technology BSc at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, which I am currently in the midst of completing my final year of. My time at university has taught me so much beyond just music production and live sound - it taught me what separates the best from the good, and just how far a drop of passion can take any project.

Prior to my final year at university, I took a year away from the course to gather some industry experience. This mainly involved live sound, spending many of my evenings in 2025 mixing FoH and monitors at The Music Room in Ipswich, Suffolk. It was also during this year away, during November 2024, that I spent some time as a runner at Black Cactus Studio near Colchester, Essex.

I have worked with a few bands in the studio during my time at university, recently leading my first entirely independent recording session with Ipswich alternative metal trio Nailbed in the largest of Anglia Ruskin’s recording studios. I am in the process of mixing and mastering the track for the band currently, which is always my favourite part of the songmaking process as it allows my creative side to come out a little. I always try to approach my projects as a musician first, which includes ensuring everything I do passes the “how would I feel if this were done to my song?” test. In addition to this, some producers may get into a rut; producing your song - and nothing else. Not me, I’m as excited about your song as you are.

Whether you need your songs mixed and mastered or live sound for your venue or show (or both!), I hope you will choose me. If you would like a little more information about myself and my experience, you will find a copy of my CV below, and if you’d like to get in contact with me, you can do so via the form provided below.
